Rental Policies

1. Private Property Use Only: The portable pizza oven and trailer (“Equipment”) may only be used on private property. Unless handled by the catering company, use on public land is strictly prohibited.

2. Handbook Compliance: The Renter agrees to read, understand, and abide by the instructions provided in the Equipment’s handbook. Failure to follow the handbook’s guidelines may result in damage or injury.

3. Liability for Damages: The Renter assumes full responsibility for any damage caused to the pizza oven, trailer, or any associated equipment during the rental period. The Renter agrees to cover the cost of repair or replacement as determined by Wood Fired Wanaka.

4. Cleaning Requirement: The pizza oven must be cleaned out prior to returning. If the oven is not returned in a clean condition, a $50 cleaning fee will be charged.

5. Age Restriction: No person under the age of 18 is permitted to use or operate the pizza oven.

6. Driver’s License Requirement: A valid, full driver’s license is required to collect and tow the pizza oven trailer. The Renter must ensure that their vehicle is properly equipped to tow the trailer safely and legally.

7. Liability Waiver: Wood Fired Wanaka is not liable for any injuries, fires, property damage, or other incidents arising from the use of the Equipment. The Renter assumes all risk and responsibility. The Renter understands and agrees that any fire, injury, or damage resulting from the operation, misuse, or negligence involving the pizza oven is entirely the Renter’s responsibility. Wood Fired Wanaka will not be held liable for any costs, legal fees, or claims resulting from such incidents. The Renter agrees to take all necessary safety precautions and acknowledges that failure to do so increases the risk of serious harm or damage, which remains solely their liability.
